The earlier the better.

All Kansas infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) are entitled to a free developmental evaluation to determine if they are eligible for early intervention services. Children who qualify can receive no-cost, in-home, early intervention services for developmental delays or disabilities.

During the first three years of life, children’s brains undergo remarkable development, setting the stage for their future growth and potential. A child with a delay is not developing like other children of a similar age.
